On a personal note, I have lived in and been involved in the area for 20 years. My three daughters attended Oak Park schools: Marya is a university recruiter, Elizabeth is a trader on one of the exchanges downtown, my youngest, Emily, is a sophomore at Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. I have two Standard Poodles (Indi and Bear), drive a Honda station wagon (I read wagons are about to become stylish again) and I'm an avid gardener. I support our local businesses, Habitat for Humanity, The Chicago Food Depository and the arts. I am wild about all things housing.
